Mama Cat Gets A Revamp, With Social Distancing Humor

I am in the middle of fixing some of the things that just didn't turn out right the first time. One of these is the Mama Cat shirt. I went back to Illustrator, selected a different font and thickened the stroke enough that a white outline would set the multicolor letters apart from the dark-with-light spots background.

And now that we've neared the end of 2020, is it too soon for a little Social Distancing humor? Gilbert Gottfried, after he was fired for insensitive jokes about the Japanese tsunami, remarked that when tragedy happens, comedy isn't far behind. While I do find that sentiment a bit too glib, hopefully people of all mask persuasions, "For" or "Against" might get a chuckle out of this design during the pandemic and beyond. Think of all the good that could happen if the six-foot rule remains continuously implemented. Could it ease social tensions from being in the same room following too much isolation? I can definitely see it being worn or displayed around people we communicate with in our day-to-day life because we must as a silent reminder:  "Not so close, Bub!" 

Next up:  My Calendar badly needs the White/Multicolor lettering redo, using the Pantone Fall 2020-themed colors seen in the T-shirt here. For the mugs, I think a sideways lettering will look better than horizontal. We shall see!
